Palm Beach, Florida

The east facing columns were constructed
of full-size blocks, in the style of true load bearing columns. This was done concurrent with the structural steel elements thus eliminating unnecessary joints from the final finished columns.

The white limestone of this impressive estate shines over the Atlantic in mid-town Palm Beach. The 26,000 sq ft new residence is framed by classical columns facing the sea, while limestone balustrades and carvings adorn the rest of the home. Copper and slate roofing complement the stained wood windows and doors throughout, with pecky cypress applied to the exterior ceilings. The fountains flow to a large pool at the center of the property, which is flanked by lush gardens and enclosed by a separate guest suite, complete with a full clay tennis court. Inside, guests are welcomed by a marble clad foyer, crowned by a large stained-glass skylight above. Intricate stone flooring carries throughout the home, with walls adorned by plaster moldings, wood paneling and specialty plaster wall finishes. Behind the finishes lie state of the art systems, with sophisticated full home automation and monitoring systems. The underground equipment area prevents stray noise or vibrations from entering the living spaces. A truly beautiful and well thought out home.
